Hajin at a glance
Hajin is an exclusion zone created by a nuclear reactor meltdown, on the border between North and South Korea near Russia. GameSpot calls it the largest Call of Duty map yet.
- The west was North Korean: rural and military.
- The south and east was South Korean: farmland, then the dense streets of Hajin City.
- The north reaches the Russian border. That part is fogged and out of bounds until Season 2.
- Infinity Ward also told GamesBeat that a post-launch DMZ map is coming that is mostly indoors and “more creepy”.
There are 13 major areas and more than 60 smaller named places. Every area has a threat level from Low to Extreme. See threat levels.

Secrets
Activision says every region has sealed or secret areas, and some places can only be entered from the water. If a door is locked from the inside, there is another way in. In a GamesBeat interview, Infinity Ward named some of the hidden spots: missile silos, a tank graveyard and a toxic pool. Their exact positions are not public yet. No official keypad or bunker codes exist for DMZ: the codes going around are from the campaign.
