Privacy & cookies

How DMZTracker handles your data, which cookies are used and the choices you have. Last updated 20 October 2026.

Who we are

DMZTracker (dmztracker.gg) is an independent fan site run by SubboxGG, who is the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR. You can reach us through the contact page.

What we collect

  • Things you save in our tools. Deployment plans, trait builds, mission progress, loot lists and your crafting stash are stored in your own browser (localStorage). They are not sent to us. Clearing your site data removes them. Sync links and backup files carry that data inside the link or file itself, so only people you share them with can see it.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your address and message only as long as needed to reply and deal with your request.
  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, browser, page requested, time) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify you.
  • Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views, referring sites and page speed. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites and does not identify individual visitors.
  • Advertising data. When advertising is on, Google and its partners collect data through cookies and similar technologies, as described below.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Advertising

DMZTracker is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies ataboutads.info. Learnhow Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Ads are never placed on our planning tools, legal pages or over map controls, and we do not run ads on pages without substantial content.

Cookies and your choices

We only set cookies that are needed for the site to work unless you agree to more. Visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's certified consent message before any advertising cookies are used, and can choose personalised ads, non-personalised ads, or to manage each purpose and partner individually. Visitors in US states with privacy laws can opt out of the sale or sharing of their data through the same tool.

Change your privacy & cookie settings

If you decline advertising cookies you may still see ads, but they will not be based on your browsing. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Legal bases

  • Advertising cookies and personalised ads: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Security logs and replying to messages: our legitimate interest in running the site and answering you.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR (and the EU GDPR where it applies) you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. US residents may have similar rights under state law, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. To use any of these rights, contact us. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We will update this page if how we handle data changes, and change the date at the top when we do.
