What DMZ Orders are
DMZ Orders are tasks you take from the Orders tablet at the FOB. They are grouped into chapters and pages and tied to the story after launch. Destructoid compares them to quests in other extraction games: they teach you the mode, introduce characters, and unlock more of the FOB.
Rewards include Resources, loot, DMZ Cash and some 3D Printer recipes.
Why to do them first
- Your second DMZ Order opens the Boss Board, per Activision’s FOB guide.
- Lieutenant intel on the Boss Board is tied to finishing Orders chapters. Two separate readings of the Boss Board screen point to the Human Intel chapter.
- Orders are designed to show you where Hajin’s best loot is.
Known chapters
| Chapter | Known Orders |
|---|---|
| Underground | Eye in the Sky, Joyride, place a transmitter on top of La Grande Vie in Songdo Wharf |
| Counterfeit | Hostile Force, Robbery, Execute Intel |
| Human Intel | Tasks not public yet |
| Other Orders seen in footage | Hunter, Triage Protocol, No One Left |
The chapter and Order names come from the Orders screen shown in official footage. Most task text has not been published yet.
Counterfeit tasks
These come from an official trailer as read by fan sites, so treat them as Unconfirmed:
- Hostile Force: go into a Police Station, search three containers and kill five soldiers inside.
- Robbery: open a safe and extract 5,000 in cash value.
- Execute Intel: hack the UAV Tower in Deadtown, kill five of the North Korean soldiers it pings, and loot the Counterfeit Cash they drop.
Tips
- Accept the next Order before every deployment, and pick a deployment type that lets you work on it. Free Roam suits most of them.
- Orders and missions can share a run. Stack them with the Deployment Planner.
- Track your progress on the Orders list or the trackers.
