- Infil
- Fixed insertion. The infil choice (Ground, Dagor, LTV, Heli, Cargo Plane) only applies to Dynamic Ops and Free Roam
- Matchmaking
- Squad Fill matches you with players who queued for the same mission. Other squads on the same server can get in the way of your objective
- Mission Item slot
- Starts every deployment empty. Items the mission needs go into it automatically, so nobody has to make backpack space for them
- Weekly goal
- Finish a random Story Mission 3 times in a week (shown as 0/3) for weekly rewards. What the rewards are is not yet public
- Launch count
- One of six Story Missions at launch (PC Gamer and Destructoid hands-on). Five are named publicly; the sixth is not
- Fixed design
- Plays the same every match, unlike randomly generated Dynamic Ops. Infinity Ward says no Story Mission objective relies on RNG. Longer than Dynamic Ops and pays well; a good first step for new players
