The catch
Picking up the case broadcasts your position. Other squads are told where you are, so the trip from the boss to the exfil is often the hardest part of the fight.
Why it is worth it
- Extracting it advances the Boss Board, which tracks your Lieutenant kills.
- Extracting Lieutenant Dog Tags earns seasonal rewards. Infinity Ward has described the goal as clearing every Lieutenant each season.
How to carry it out
- Plan your exfil before you pick up the case.
- Heal, re-plate and reload first.
- Pick it up last, then move straight to the exfil.
- Use vehicles or water routes to get away faster.
